Die Midgard-Schlange aus der nordischen Mythologie wurde von dem Gott Loki gezeugt. Sie ruht im Großen Ozean und ist so riesig, dass sie ganz Midgard einkreist, wenn sie in ihren eigenen Schwanz beißt.

The Midgard Serpent from the Nordic Mythology was fathered by the God Loki. It lies in the Great Ocean and is so big that it encircles all of Midgard biting its own tail.
